Friends from high school and childhood, old teachers and neighbors have been dropping things off at my parents' home. Have you felt a lot of hometown support during your struggles the past year?Ī. He definitely keeps me busy and happy and inspired every morning to smile and do my best for him and for myself. It's hard to sit around and mope and be sad when he looks at you and smiles and wants to play trucks. I'd think having a little boy to take care of would help keep you focused and moving forward.Ī. ![]() What's wonderful (about the album, 'Live Your Life: Live at Feinstein's/54 Below') is not only is it his voice singing songs, but you also hear him speak and the little comedic things that he would do. I feel like every time I get in the car he's playing DJ up in heaven. Elvis and I listen to him in the car all the time. I still haven't had any dreams about him. I wish he would come visit me in my dreams, but I do feel his presence. I do. I feel like he's definitely with me. Do you feel like Nick is watching you? Do you feel his presence?Ī. I kind of felt right at home as soon as I sat down in that chair. Carrie Ann (Inaba) and Sharon (Osbourne) and Sheryl (Underwood) made it the easiest job, and made me feel like a part of the family from day one. It's an incredible family there, everyone is so kind and welcoming. I honestly feel so blessed to have this job. At the end of October, they asked me to guest host and it was really fun being with the ladies and doing the job that they do. It gave me something to look forward to and to focus on.
